I learned my lesson with the launch of FX/AM3+. Apparently my Gigabyte UD3 rev1.1 board is infamous for less than stellar heatsinking on the VRM and northbridge and troublesome memory clocks. I'm apparently lucky I can maintain a stable 4.2 on my 8320 with 8gb 1866 CL9.

With the sheer amount of BIOS fuckery going on I'm going to wait until proper revisions come out before investing in an expensive new motherboard. It's convenient I'm awaiting mITX boards anyhoo.
