So I had a new pack of apple earpods from one of my old iPhones I bought new on eBay. I gave one to my gf, I noticed on the cord it said "designed by apple California, made in taiwan" are those legit? It was newly wrapped in the case and all, but I just wanted to make sure I didn't give her a knockoff by accident. We facetimed and she used them and they sounded fine, so just was curious.
btw I'm curious because it's usually made in china, not taiwan.
Apple products are made in california
ya got scammed cuz you're a fucking retard
but who really cares they're both doodoo products, the real thing and the fakes, so who gives a shit if they're fake.

you'll probably have to compare with the real ones and see. i joined the group buy for apple earpods on massdrop for $10 and they turned out to be counterfeit (got a refund).
even if you couldn't tell the difference between the sound, it's still noticeable. in my fake one the buttons for inline mic/volume controls were stiffer to click and louder sounding. the text printed on the cable also differed in size and kerning.

Who gives a fuck? They're both shit anyways. Might as well just buy the chink shit, at least you'll save money for an equally shit product.

Don't bother, I just gave her an original piece.

Get your money back, these ones are made in California by Tim Cook himself
