I dislike applel, but I absolutely hate microsoft or anything running any android. If I would buy a tablet it would be an iPad pro.

The comfy true tone screen alone makes it better.

i would get one if they weren't so expensive, so that I could take notes with the apple pencil. IT's equivalent to wacom software, as far as I know, but looks fucking amazing. I've used them a few times, the pencil alone makes me want it.

I prefer the Surface, but you made the right choice picking iPad over an Android based tablet. There's simply more optimized software made for iOS, while Android tablet apps are just phone apps trying to fill a giant screen resulting in heaps of empty space (pic related). Also shit standby battery life and performance on Android based tablets.
