How do you guys do it?
One monitor for code. One monitor for documentation.

I fucking wish I could get as far as having a second monitor to use

One monitor, vertical, has the primary blob of code
Secondary, horizontal, has secondary blobs/documentation/system monitor to ensure lack of crashes.
Third is dedicated to system monitor if applicable

Just get one big monitor and do some intelligent window snapping along with using workspaces. GNOME is great for that kind of workflow. I have a second monitor but it's a different brand, size and aspect ratio so my autism doesn't allow me to use it.

if you have workspaces, secondary monitors are pretty much a meme.
I have one and I have no clue what I'm doing with it.
maybe I'll have irssi running on the secondary monitor in portrait, or firefox with some text on it.
