Pizza is gratis for sure. Anything we make for the event is libre. Copyright for participants' projects is retained by the author, but I'll recommend people choose a license for their projects. I am pretty annoyed by how many hackathon projects are just thrown on Github without a license.

Stay the fuck away from MLH. Organized hackathon leagues and sponsorships were a mistake; MLH is the antithesis of true hacker culture and the API garbage they shove down your throat teaches nothing about actual programming or best practice.
