I changed from Irfanview to XNviewMP some years ago. Very happy with it. In fact the only thing I can think of that it's opening images in archives, as CDisplay does, for example.
>>

XnView

But for some reason it can't play GIF/WebMs anymore

>>
>>59569660
irfanview can play gifs without problem.
>>
>>59569660
It can play GIFs but they changed the default timing to meet industry standards in a version released awhile ago, so certain GIFs run way to fast.
>>
>>59569660
I used that thing back in 98 days
>>
>>59569660
Well of course photoshop.
Best image viewer.
Best functionality among all viewers.
>>
i use whatever is default on the os
>>
>>59572523
You joke but a colleague of mine opens GIMP every time he wants to view an image. I changed his image file associations to screw with him and he never changed it back.

Except for animated GIFs, i find Picasa Photo Viewer very good.

I wonder if anyone here ever gave it a spin in all these years I've been shilling for it.

how the fuck pol have common with image viewing? That's some autism you have.
>>
IrfanView is great and i can't remember for how long I've been using it, I donated 30 money units earlier this year
>>
>>59569660
I usually use Irfanview for screenshots because it's so fast to open and it has easy controls for cropping. The whole thing takes like 5 seconds and even that is just lag from user.

I haven't found an equivalent for it in the Linux world yet, assuming that the purpose for it would be similar in my case. To get a cropped screenshot/some other image fully ready in couple of seconds. A screenshot program would restrict the use to just screenshots, not any other images. That's not as good.

>Print screen
>open Irfanview
>Ctrl + V
>mouse select the area you want to keep
>Ctrl + X
>D (to clear)
>Ctrl +V
>Ctrl + S
Well okay there are a few steps but it's still only a couple of seconds total, once you know the UI.

>>
