I EDC an e-reader instead of a tablet/phone. My current device, a kobo touch, has a 6 inch screen (too small) and no lighting. Should I buy an Aura One?
Well, if you think you need a bigger one and the Aura suits your needs, why not?

The cheapest one I can find is $230 and I'm a college student poorfag. Just looking for opinions from people who own it.
I want to buy an EREADER but NO ONE ever post pictures of them beside a smartphone or tablet for reasonable size comparisons.

Have you tried one of these?
>6 inches
>small
How? Unless your eyesight is that bad it should be comfy modo to read from that screen

I want a device for reading books that is the size of a book. Also, reading PDFs or files that have graphics is nearly impossible on a 6 inch screen.

I use a 10 inch screen 16:10 just fine but if you want something better get the kobo glo HD. Its the best deal in the ereader market
what's a good non-botnet e-reader? microsd storage would be nice.

The kobo touch has a microsd slot inside, and can boot android or GNU out of the box
I have a kindle paperwhite, it's okay.
Had to jailbreak it so it was actually usable though. Wouldn't ever recommend any amazon ereaders unless you're willing to go through hoops just to get it to do what it should do out of the box.

a physical ruler, retard
I had an old Kindle die on me while traveling (screen).
Got a paperwhite in October which died two weeks ago (screen).
Brought it back to the store under warranty and just got a notification that they (Amazon) can't/won't repair it.
I assume I will get a replacement paperwhite but in case not: what should I get? Size of the paperwhite was very comfy but having two Kindle screens die on me makes me wonder whether there are more robust options.
I always use a protective casing.

How about you stop buying fucking paperwhites, jesus.
Get a kobo
>tfw get motion sickness and can't read on the commute
I got an Kobo Aura One, it's my first e-reader.
I like it.
The size is nice. The total size is comparable to a hand-held notepad (physical paper) but I guess that's a pretty vague description.

The general opinion is that Kobo's are good, and pretty free from botnet.
The aura one lacks micro sd support which is pretty much the only con I see in it. It has 8 GB internal storage which is somewhat decent.

Hi memes, you should follow your heart and maybe your paybook
>>59567446
Does that go for the both of them? There's a 2.0 version now
