>tfw linux doesn't recognize my wifi card
>tfw everytime I post a screenshot
>huh duh windows user kys
>but linux is perfect get gud
you fell for the meme, everyone knows lunix is an unusable piece of shit
>>59557859
>buy hardware with supported linux drivers
>have no problems
why am i the only one
>>59558031
>let's blame the user rather than the fact my OS is a hobby os
>>59557859
my wifi card doesn't have proper windows support
newest drivers cause occasional BSOD
older drivers are shit and keep reconnecting
asus pce AC68, what an expensive piece of shit
it has theree antennas and the range is as good as my phones wifi
>>59557859
linux is an old OS it can run only on old hardware
props to you for trying though
>not using BSD
You deserve it.
>>59557859
It is the other way around, your card is shit and doesn't have Linux drivers.
>fell for the linux meme
XDDDDDDD
lol bruh its a just a joke no one actually uses linux here as their main os we all install it in a vm and then shit on windows becuz its cool lol
>>59557859
Which card, exactly?
>>59558097
>blame the OS because hardware manufacturer does not supply drivers nor documentation for it
>>59557859
Linux doesn't suck, your wifi card does.

Realtek RTL 8190 802.11n Wireless LAN (Mini) PCI NIC
>>59558117
It's the same way with Atheros AR5BWB222 on my laptop, works like shit on anything else than stock, non updated Windows 8 (not 8.1) or Linux. I have a spare intel centrino wifi card but it does not even work on windows with any drivers, probably some hardware block (acer laptop). Works on linux though
>>59558399
Atheros has always been horrible at documenting their chips
>>59558388
Linux has drivers for that card, maybe you should troubleshoot on the mailing lists, and file a bug report if you think that's the case.
>>59558480
Why does it work on linux then?
