Almost any 771 used xeons are cheaper and usually oc much better than their consumer parts. Also, did which chipset did that system use, p35/p45 or something shittier?

There are much better deals for 1366 platform, especially X5570 for around 13$.

I should have did this. $1600 later and I have a 144hz meme monitor that can only do 120hz and a loud coil whine on my fury.
