Some people have to play the latest First Person Shooter(tm) with every graphical setting on ultra. If they aren't playing at ultra then they aren't le PC Master Race.

Hello time traveler.
Wait for rebrandeons.

I see your point, the only reason I got the 5850 was because I figured DX11 would become the norm and there'd be DX11 only games pretty soon. Took till 2013 for that to happen.
But with DX12 being only on the incredibly unpopular Windows 10, I figure the market is going to be split again like it was with DX10. I went from an x800 to this.
I'll probably upgrade sooner or later, just I have no need for a new API.
rx 470 8gb or rx 480 8gb
if you intend to have it last a long time then you wanna get something with a good amount of vram because thats probably going to be the first thing that fucks you over in the future
seeing as a few titles are already exceeding 4gb and even 6gb i think its reasonable to go for rx 480 8gb

It still feels like I have high end PC, I'm seriously don't understand why people buying 400$ gpu every year now that technology stagnant.
