t-thanks
I want to uninstall the games, vlc but it will break the whole system.
>>59549136
ive heard things about marking them as installed explicitly will then allow you to remove them without dragging half the base with it. ive never done it myself, so i could be wrong though.

debian user here, this is how my installs go
>install just the base system
>edit /etc/apt/sources.list
>update
>reboot
>install the packages I want

>Adding a repo for every new piece of software
Fuck plebian
>>59549493
pls share your repo lad
why the hell do debian have games ? i can unerstand if it was ubuntu/mint, but debin they should put a folder with richard stallman memes.
>>59549566
What is wrong with that
Debian user here,
first experience with it coming from Mint mostly
bunch of games installed, but no VLC and actually have missing dependencies for it.
I am even having issues with installing TOR
Get runaround everytime i search for a good source for apps
>>59549566
isn't that better?

>be surprised that the metapackages contained a lot of packages
Why don't you go back to a scrub distro like Arch? You're clearly not prepared to manage an actual OS.

It's not my fault debian sjwtainers think games and vlc should be default on a desktop.
