My Windows trademark experience:

I've got a similar situation to OP's
>Have a laptop for AoE III gayming
>AMD Switchable Graphics driver preinstalled
>Everything works fine
>1 year later it automatically updates the driver to the "cooler" AMD Radeon Crimson
>Everything stops working, 5 FPS, switches to default Intel family graphics
>Look online for solutions
>Post on AMD's forum
"Sorry your model is no longer supported for this update"
