>It’s easier for our software to compete with Linux when there’s piracy than when there’s not.
What did he mean by this?
>>59531432
he means that its easier for non-free software to achieve a high market share if there is piracy
>>59531432
> I prefer to hire lazy people rather than hardworking people.
What did he mean by that?
>>59531432
If you 100% had to pay for all the software you use on Windows, ie piracy wasn't possible, then Linux would look a lot more attractive, since you can do many things for free on Linux that you would need to pay to do on Windows.
>>59531500
just guessing but probably that meme about lazy people doing things intelligently so that they can be lazy
>>59531500
He means he prefers to hire people who aren't satisfied with doing extra manual work for no reason, and who will instead automate those things that they are too "lazy" to do manually.
>>59531432
He don't talk about Linux in public.
Shoulder pads.

Please give me source of where/when he said this.

The end result is nobody left who understands the NT source, if they even have the entire NT source anymore

Checks out.
when your software become synonymous with the majority of computers whether paid for or not your still going to be making money by increasing market share. If they locked the fuck out of their OS with a hardware key or something people would switch to something else free and they would loose market share
