One of the most frustrating job application processes I've gone trough:

Having recently been in the job market my guess would be that it's most probably Node.js as there seems to be rather huge demand for it. I even ended up learning how to do some pretty basic stuff with it for one job interview process that ultimately went nowhere (sent in the assignment, had the recruitment company get back to me 3 weeks later asking for a dropbox link as my solution somehow ran into an email spam filter somewhere and then going silent for a month and contacting me only to apologise for the delay and tell me that it's still going to be a few weeks before the interviews begin).

Then again it could also be React, jQuery or AngularJS as there's an absolutely bewildering amount of javascript frameworks out there actually being used...
