Did I messed up when applying thermal paste, /g/?
I tried to go for the "just a little grain of rice" but I think I applied to little.
This is when idle btw.
what about under load

Under heavy load it kind of behaves.
What triggers me is how the temp is already that high when no programs are open and specially the difference of temps between cores.
Could the last thing mean that there are parts of the CPU that don't have paste properly applied?

What processor? That's a bit high.
Always err on the side of applying more paste than less. Pea sized drop is good.
They've done tests where too much paste leads to good temps, but too little results in high temps.

i5 2500
I will go back to the table and re-apply the thermal paste.
