an absolutely meaningless metric for new hardware. price/perf is infinitely better for anything used, you can go full poorfag and buy some old office pc with a locked i7 in it for $100, only downside is that you need to use a low end gpu (1050ti/rx460/etc) as they have garbage cases and power supplies with no pcie connectors.
