System Administrator for a big insurance company
It's a good gig, you know. Respectable pay, not too hard. Just pretty boring and I'm thinking about my hobbies all day. Feel like a poser when I'm not excited about my work.
Wonder if anyone else here feels that way.

You need to get out of your comfort zone if you want to keep growing. Interview for jobs that are way out of your league, you might just land one.

I don't have a job and would love to be in yours. Do you have certs or degree etc? How did you land your job?

That's just adult hood.
Welcome to it for the next 60 years.

as long as the pay is good then i don't see the problem, way better than working at a stressful job.

Went to school for computer science. Worked tech support at the university, eventually landed internship at a well-known tech company doing sys admin work. They padded my resume and then when I graduated and put my resume out there, got a lot of recruiter attention, did a few interviews, and landed the job.
Pretty painless.
