Once I sell a couple of things I am going to work on a new PC build. Thinking about building it inside of a original xbox case, and setting it up in front of my TV with a stand. Alternatively I could make a new PC and transfer over my drives and GPU and get whatever cheap GPU for the Dell. Leaning towards the first option though. I'd get better hanging speakers though, and either put your tower on the floor or get a more compact (possibly wall mounted, though most of those look dumb) case.

Anyone have setups that are similar to this?
I am moving into a new house and I'm wanting to mount a large HDTV over my x34 ultrawide so I can set up a futon and have a larger screen for controller oriented gaming, whilst also maintaining my desk and normal desktop layout for normal application and desktop gaming.

Pic not mine— I'm trying to brainstorm how to do this. Not sure how large the screen should be, or how I should even configure my sound setup.

You could go for larger if you mount it back a bit further than your other monitors.

I used to have a 45" to the left of my 24" monitor. That was okay. Going up to 55" made the pixels way larger. I should have gotten 4k but too expensive after my 45" died. You also need a screen that looks good without being too bright.
Once I move, I'm going to do a setup like you described, though. Probably a 34" ultrawide, or like 28" 16:9 1440p, with a 55" or so 4k mounted above and back behind it a bit.

The 21:9 standard is fine. It's good to better match your actual field of view.

But the size of them is too small, I think.
My 16:10 24" is 32.6cm Tall. A 21:9 24" is usually around 33.5cm tall.
Need them in 37" sizes and higher resolution like I think, like 4456x1880. With 150% scaling that work perfect. Or 5120x2160 5k ultrawide.

You guys know your shit, and i am pretty noob at this stuff - i need some advice. So my current motherboard is a pretty old Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V and i want to buy MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X, 8GB GDDR5X, 256bit

Will it be compatible? Will it fit in the slot ? Will the power cable be ok? Should i expect any issues?

Both desk and the wood piece are glued on the wall. Cable manage is pretty hard since I had to drill holes into the desk (one is visible and the other is it the back of the computer) so I don't have alot of space to work with :/

Keyboard is the Corsair K70 RGB LUX.
Cables are all underneath the desk. Needs to be managed a bit better but it's hard when you're renting and can't put holes in the walls, so I didn't bother showing them in the photos.
