NOBODY LISTENED

Also. 100m share buy, no word anywhere on it?
>>59494337
I already bought 100 shares back when it was $4.80
I am building a new computer, and I am not even going to use AMD, lmao.
>>59494337
+3% jump means nothing you cuck
>>59494357
Are you going full spend and buying a 1080Ti? If not you're probably fucking up
>1080 or Titan
Get a Ti you retard
>1070 at 1080p144
Get a 480 you retard
>Anything below 1070
Seriously though, 480
>>59494393
1070 is the sweet spot for 1440p.
480 struggles too much at that resolution, although it is a good 1080p card.
I wish they would unveil Vega already, but they are taking fucking forever.
>>59494426
Just wait a little bit that amd release new stuff. If it doesn't have a better price/performance, it will still reduce the price of the 1070
>>59494337
I told you all to buy when they were < $2 per share
(if you did that you would have potentially septupled your money)
>>59494337
get hyped on pump&dump train
How do ibuy shares via paypal without leaving my flat?
>>59494365
Being this stupid
>>59494337

>>59494493
Yeah, they were like $1.50 a pop when people on here kept shilling the stock. I should have taken out a loan for $20,000. Fuck.

>>59497551
speculation ping pong.
>>59494337
I'll be very disappointed if AMD won't be at least 20 by the end of this year.
>>59494426
I play at 1440p with a 480. it actually holds up pretty well but some Nvidia-slanted titles struggle to break 40 FPS. namely, TW3 and FO4.
rest is stable 60+ and above.
>>59494337
I listened tho.
There's others on /g/ that have me beat, too.
>>59494337

>>59499822
That was in the first few minutes, fucktard.
It's $14.40 now.
>>59499822
It is a big deal if you have hundreds of shares
>tfw you don't know how to stock market
>>59500724
It's simple.
Always do the opposite of what /g/ says.
>>59496085
>>59496609
Why do some people here on /g/ dislike video games so much?
>>59500901
Because the kind of people they attract here, for videogames you have /v/ and /vg/, not /g/
>>59500912
but most tech people play video games
>>59500960
And most people also browse the internet, doesn't mean we want their stupid ass here.
>>59494337
Holy crap its up an entire 42 cents!
>tfw stock fags actually get excited about that.
>>59500886
Don't even know how to do that much. Unless the opposite of /g/ is absolutely nothing, then I've got that down.
Wow a whole 30 cents!
If I bet my whole savings on AMD I could have made a cool $150!
>>59494337
where do you even find non scam stock sites?
>>59500999

>>59501054

>>59501054

>>59501078
Not many people have more than $10,000 sitting around in savings.
Rarely do even solid middle class families have that laying around.
You probably made like $20.
>>59500969
You want to ban people who use the internet?
Hi anti-shill police here
>>59494337
>Also. 100m share buy, no word anywhere on it?
The chances are that it's a share buyback by AMD themselves, or an indirect investment through their shares so they keep their meme inflation up for slightly longer and keep making headlines
Additionally, do let me remind you that upon further observation of the pic provided in the OP, you will notice "52 week 2.6 - 15.5", which means that the stock is trading in a boundary as wide as 7 times, which is the VERY FIRST indicator that anyone willing to go long-term into AMD would consider. Such an insane short-term volatility will spook even the stupidest of investors as they'd prefer to simply revert to their favorite Apple, Amazon and Alphabet. Until that volatility doesn't disappear and the stock doesn't stabilize (i.e the 52 week becomes something in the lines of 6-15), no one will ever consider them seriously. The reason they got bumped up to 14 is because they were in the lower range, about $6, which is an ok price to buy a stock like AMD (as people also did, hence the $14 price atm)
Yours,
anti-shill police
The numbers are not there to support such a high valuation/stock price.
There have been zero earnings that include Ryzen/Naples BUT the market has already decided that ryzen/naples is worth valuing AMD at 14+ a share.
*if* AMD can't deliver on peoples expectations when they show Q1 and Q2 earnings then their stock will take a beating.
If they beat market expectations then of course stock will shoot up.
But right now its a dangerous game based on feels and not actual sales.
>>59501199
100m share would be 1.3 billion dollars.
AMD does not have that money.
But nice try, retard.
>>59501336
I thought you meant it in a "100m value" way
There is no fucking way a 100m actual share quantity was bought you dumb shill. You're making me waste time by forcing me to check. brb
>>59494337
I listened, I just wish I had bought more way back when it was $2 a share.
>>59501367
>Look at OP Pic
>Volume: 100.11m
>100.11m X 13.49 = $13.5B

Just checked
It's volume TRADED, not bought, lmao what a fucking inbred
Here's the actual holder list on their own site, point me to the company that made a huge purchase recently
>>59501411
you can go to nasdaq site and see the trades too
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/amd/time-sales?time=0
its not like any of this stuff is secret in any kind of way,
Officers of the company have also their options and other shit that are executed automatically as well
http://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMD/holders?p=AMD
but again this is nothing out of the norm,
