Does a 27" 1080p monitor have too low PPI if I normally sit 2 fucking arm lengths away from my monitor?
I really need a second monitor, currently I only have a 23" 1080p but also like to lay down in my comfy sofa and watch movies and 23" is a but small for that.
And I only buy PLS monitors, no fucking lcd shit

Two arm lengths should be fine. I used to have a 27" at one arm length away and it felt a bit overwhelming. For movies it was excellent though.
