Hey guys, recently got a 1080TI but I'm still running a 1080p monitor. Debating whether I should get a 2k 144Hz monitor or a 4k 60Hz monitor. What does /g/ think?
Pic unrelated.
That's a cute doggo.

Sure you did mr Definitely Not A Shill.

Doesn't have a time stamp but I have a few pics of the TI when I was installing it. I work in a computer store so I brought in my computer and the TI to clean it out and work on it during down time.

I was going to sell off my 980ti classified and get a 1080ti. Is it worth the move if all I'm aiming for is 60hz 1440p? The GTX 9xx series finally has good Linux support. Doubt that's the case with the newest stuff.
And as for you OP, I'd recommend 144hz 1440p. 4k 60hz would probably be better overall though if you're looking for productivity space on top of gaming at high resolution.

Why would you hurt me like this?

Get an X34 or PG348Q.
Just know that you will regret it the moment that monitor companies fucking adapt DP1.3/1.4 and have 144Hz 3440×1440.

It depends on what you use it for. 144hz is great for gaming, but hopefully its also a ips panel. Because otherwise its tn and that has terrible viewing angles
