What in the fuckity fuck?
>should be
Then you should have no problem listing your components and PSU model, right?
>>59443014
Asrock H87M mobo
i5-4590 (with aftermarket cooler)
No GPU atm, only integrated
Win 8.1
2x8 GB RAM
1 SSD and 2 HDD (+DVD drive)
There is no way EVGA 550 G2 shouldn't be able to run that.
>>59443065
>Win 8.1
There's your problem m8
Really though, I have no idea. Do you get 100% POST success if you go back to one disk?
It's possible that there's a shorting issue in your cables or second drive that's causing OCP to trip, but I can't think what else.
By "refuses to turn on", do you literally mean absolutely no response? Do fans or disks spinning etc?
>>59443284
No fans or disk spinning etc?*
>>59443284
>>59443295
Everything turns on for like a second, then goes off again.
The strange thing is that I now tried to run it without the second drive, but the PC thinks there is only the SSD.

Not sure what to suggest desu. Just start crossing things out; use different SATA power daisy chains/series on the PSU, different SATA ports, flush CMOS, update BIOS, do a full disk health check.. weird indeed.
I've had failed disks that stopped my machine from posting at all when connected, but I think that fans still span up and stayed spinning at least.
take your ram out and place in different lanes
Shouldve got a seasonic
>>59443065
Back of the tower where the PSU cord is. There's a switch. Flip it.
>>59443595
I am not that retarded.
>>59443007
found your problem
>>59443713
Oh geez, thanks, of course it's the old lighbulb. Gotta get a new one.
>>59443713
Wow you must be the first person to point this out.
>>59443007
> pc refuses to turn on if I plug in both hard drives
Does it work if you plug one at a time, for both?
If so, maybe you got a bad PSU. RMA, perhaps grab a Corsair HXi or AX.
>>59443779
Maybe I'll RMA, but I still hope I can think of something.
>>59443824
Rma mate, nip the trouble in the bud.
>>59443007
I had this problem before, turns out I screwed the mobo standoffs too tightly.
Try that, and if it still doesn't work, I highly suggest RMA'ing it, might be a faulty unit, like what other anons have said.
>>59444007
But all works fine without plugging in the HDD, that doesn't seem like it has anything to do with the mobo.
>>59444035
So it happens even with power only/no data cable connected to disk2? Does it happen on all on the sata power daisy chains? (if there are more than one)
