Will we look back at black plastic in the future the same way we see beige plastic from the 90s now?
>>

>we
Who?
>the same way we see beige plastic from the 90s now?
How do you see beige plastic?
>>
>>59408116
Nah because that beige shit turns piss yellow over time, whereas the black plastic wont.

>>
>>59408116
There was black plastic in the 80s and 90s too, bucko,
>>
>>59408128
>Who?
People on /g/.

>How do you see beige plastic?
"How did we ever think this was a good idea?"

>>59408142
OK smartass, but it wasn't the dominant color in computers and other electronics.
>>
>>59408197
>People on /g/.
/g/ is not a Borg collective.

>"How did we ever think this was a good idea?"
There's that "we" again.
Are you the ambassador of /g/?

Autism. Most people don't take things this literally.

>>59408233
Like 90% of computers from that era were beige.

Missing it and wishing we'd go back? I'd hope not.
>>
>>
the new color will be plain gray
and we will all love it but hate it
>>
>>59408283
I'm sorry for not being specific enough. I remember there being a lot of beige in the 90s. I don't remember the exact proportions it was used in various electronics. It's been almost 20 years, my memory isn't the best.

Yes, there was a lot of beige in the 1980s and 1990s,
and many people still like it, for example >>59408293

What bothers me most about modern cases is not the color but the flimsy build quality. Back then it was not uncommon for a regular PC case to weigh 15 kilograms. Solid steel and thick plastic.
Now it's all show, no go.

These cheap shitty plastic keyboards will always be so nostalgic for me.

i think beige looks really cool to be honest

Black was the dominant color of 1980s and 1990s home stereos,
which is clearly a subset of
>and other electronics.

An all-encompassing term for HTTP, HTML and URIs, the groundwork for which was laid down by Tim-Berners Lee on a NeXT computer, that in turn was designed by Steve Jobs.

There's still plenty of minimalist computers being sold.

Jesus Christ you guys will argue about literally anything. Did I deny that some computers were black in the 90s? No, I didn't. But beige was clearly the dominant color back then.
>>
>>59408581
Most of those 1990s computers look infinitely better than 90% of 2010s computers.
