Well, I'd have to update later anyway. At least I'm on stable, so it won't be breaking anyth-

Sounds like user error

I think it changed the preference when I updated from 51.0 to 51.0.1
But that was only a mild annoyance. Having to use PulseAudio is simply not an option, but I use way too many firefox addons to be able to just move.
Seriously, fuck everything.
It's funny how Mozilla promotes diversity, yet only supports one audio backend...

How's Chrome and Vivaldi addon-wise?
Do they have alternatives to:
- Classic Theme Restorer (really, anything that takes the GTK2 theme, and hopefully makes the tabs short and blocky)
- cliget (downloads with headers and cookies and shit direct to a wget command)
- Flash Video Downloader (capture playing video link)
- Kitsune (japanese IME)
- Rikaichan (english to japanese real-time translator)
- uMatrix (not just uBlock)
- User Agent Switcher
And of course, greasemonkey. Though IIRC userscripts run straight in Chrome and Vivaldi, right?
