why don't you use discord?
do you have something to hide?
>>59397124
>It's another "If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear" episode
Shiggy
If you have nothing to hide, post your full name and home address, as well as every phone number of you and your immediate family. Post your browser history, and all recent purchases. Also, post the entire logs of every discord chat you have been a part of.
>>59397311
thats a little extreme, dont you think?
>>59397323
No, it's not. If you have nothing to hide, do it. You don't have anything to hide, do you?
Websites/analysts already have all of that data, assuming you shop on places like Amazon, chat on Discord, use Google Chrome or any other botnet web browser, and use stock Win8/8.1/10.
>>59397345
>they sell that information
give me 10k€ and i'll give all of my info
>>59397363
>They gather it from you for free
Post it. You don't have anything to hide. Your info is safe with daddy Anon.
>>59397124
>do you have something to hide?
It's this meme again
Why should I use Discord? Goes against all /g/ principles. Closed-source, trash gaymerware, centalized, and it's one of those proprietary nu-male Electron application. The only reason people have put out was "other people use it".
I'm fine with IRC.
>>59397381
b-but they keep the information to themselves unless someone offers money to them for info.
so... money = info?
also you can always create an account there with your nigg.ers mail.
>>59397405
>closed source
nothing open source is ever good.
>>59397408
They also use the information to directly advertise products to you.
So, give me your info, and I'll advertise products to you. Just like Amazon and Chrome.
>>59397425
what if i told you...
ive never used amazon and only used chrome to see what all the hubbub was all about.
>>59397408
>so... money = info?
Dude, information is definitely worth big dosh. Why do you think America is such a shithole now that ISPs are allowed to sell information thanks to that new legislation?
>>59397419
>nothing open source is ever good
Come back when you've provided a real argument.
The only people who use Discord anyway live online. Normal people don't use it.
>>59397464
>implying america wasnt a shithole before
Its the greed that fucked up america mostly.
Link anything good that is open source.

It's always like this. I've been having a REALLY hard time getting people to use Tox. With Discord and Telegram, it's like everyone is already there by default, i dont get it.
>>59397788
Don't go for Tox. It's a failure. I'd rather you go for Telegram or Wire than Tox.
>>59397806
You'd rather me give out my cellphone number to a mystery box service in the cloud than use a working, standalone, fully encrypted IM app? How does that make any sense?
>>59397363
10k for 100.000 users, we'll give 10cents
Ok?
