explain these fucking lo/g/istics to me

>i live in fucking WA
>they literally fucking have a warning about the east coast blizzard storms causing delays

IS THIS FUCKING LOGICAL STATISTICS?
>>
>>59394556

it probably costs more for them to go from NV to WA than it does to go from NV to TN then to WA

Don't ask why, basically in short, unions.
>>
>>59394589

is there a documentry justifying this on youtube or something cause it makes no sense

especially when they went TOWARDS the fucking coast with a major storm....i swear to fuck if my package is delayed cause they sent it 3 fucking timezones away
>>
>>59394556
>no truck from NV to WA
>truck from NV to TN
>truck from TN to WA
hmm
>>
Shipping routes are a world wonder, man. How a package destined to go across town winds up taking a round trip around North America is anyone's guess.
>>
>>59394556
probably because fedex's big ass hub is in memphis. depending on their scheduling, i could easily see it being faster for the package to travel via memphis by plane, rather than by truck or whatever from nv to wa
>>
Graph theory

Denver and Phoenix are the major air hubs when you cross the country, and both are closer to Nevada than Tennessee. OP must not have gotten the air shipping.
Actually I seem to recall a package from Nevada taking me a long time too. (also in wa) It just seems like going a little further west to use I-5 would be a little more efficient.

I once bought something that shipped from a place less than 2hrs from my house. Took a week and a half to get. In that same month I bought something that shipped from the UK to me in the western US. Estimated over 6 days, I got it in 2. Shipping is weird like that.
