This isn't news, i3 (and now g4560) are the best one's for gaming since you can actually spent more on the GPU (resulting in more fps than cpu, ie. g4560 $70 instead of 7700K-tard tier $330 - Just +250$ more for the gpu alone).
That's why gaming comparison is kinda of retard. Even more if you consider single-thread or low-res low-graphics. Who the hell spend more than $600 on CPU+GPU alone (7700K + mid-high gpu) to play on 1280x720 @ low settings? Just a very stupid "benchmark".
