Anyone program using Vim over ssh in Digital Ocean or something? I want to lighten my load, and just program on a remote system and I want others to have access to my system. I use syntax hinting in Vim would this be laggy using a service such as Digital Ocean?
wtf. do you even ssh bro

What do you mean by "lighten my load"?
Just have less running locally?
Why not just have rsync running constantly?

Why not use git and run a pull from where you want to run your code?

why not just just program locally, and then scp directly to your box?
Also, no it's not laggy. I do it all the time.

code on a piece of paper and send it to some pajeet that compiles it for you

I'm asking if using Vim on Digital Ocean with plugins such as YouCompleateMe and Pymode with rope would it be too slow to program on.

The built in functionality (protip h: ins-completion)
OP there are settings you can put in your vimrc to make it work better over ssh.
You can also use sshfs and edit remote files with local vim.
