My friend noticed my fan wasn't moving in my PSU(It's a 4 year old Seasonic fully modular 750 watt PSU, not sure model number)
Is this normal? I'm about to build a new PC and I was hoping to recycle it, it's never caused me problem.
youll be fine

Don't wanna risk frying my new components, but it's never caused any issues in this build I'm using now.
Put some load on the machine it's currently on. It should spin as the components heat up. If it doesn't, RMA it. Seasonic is awesome when it comes to RMAs.

I don't have the receipt anymore, would Newegg keep records for 4 years?
Still got the box packed away, I'll give that a go later.

Depending on the model, yes its fine. It'll only spin up when under load or reaches certain temp delta.

it only spins when during load you noob
>>59372671
Run a PC stress test. If it's not broken it should start after a minute.

I'll still test it, but that's good to know.
It's a good PSU and despite being 4 years, I bet I can pull another 4 out of it.

That paticular brand doesn't spin up unless it's under heavy load/temp.

that's normal,
i got the same psu but the x650 version.
fans only spin on when they're on load. I'm not sure but i think that's also becoming normal in most new psu and gpu's nowadays
