Galaxy s7 Sprint Unlocked

Bought this from an eBay seller here in Canada.

Had MM on it, updated to Nougat right away. Was nice but had a shit ton of Sprint crap on it. Flashed the unlocked firmware and now it's great.

TouchWiz is definitely better than it was on JB and stuff from my S3. Performance is good, expandable storage, AMOLED display, size is nice and it was in good shape considering its used.

Negatives would be the fingerprint sensor isn't the greatest. Or that could be my hands, I usually end up inputting them back in a few times a month now. I work in the trades so my fingers are routinely cut up and stuff. Other negative would be TouchWiz. It's okay I guess, but stock Android is cleaner. But out of the skinned android phones out there, it's decent enough now and seems a lot more stable than it used to be. Last would be the fact that the unlocked firmware is stuck on 6.0, I'm not sure when Nougat will drop for it. Hopefully it's soon.

Amazing camera, MicroSD slot, beautiful screen, no burn in to worry about, secondary screen is useful, finger print reader, quick charge has it go from 0-60% in 30 minutes.
>What you hate about it
Launched with Android 5.1 and upgraded to 6.0.1. still no word on if it will be getting 7.0. finger print reader sometimes randomly decides to not work and forces me to enter my PIN. Battery life could be better. A phone this big with as many features as it has should come with at least a 4k mAh battery. 3k mAh is enough for a fully days use though.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro

Have had it for a month now

The absolutely fucking insane battery life. I'm talkign 11~12 hours of SOT with brightness on 60%, gps and wifi always on and a bunch of hours of mobile data browsing. That includes some hours of pokemon go, which is a known battery destroyer. I also love the design of the phone. It feels really premium and the 2.5d glass is so sexy to look at.

If that's your actual honest to heart opinion, you're not capable of doing much of anything at all so sell the smartphone and get a dumbphone, sell your microwave and just get a simple propane tank stove or some charcoal and lighter fluid with matches, get offline now because you obviously can't operate a computer to sufficient degrees (you might have had a friend make that post for you, who knows), and life itself is just too complicated for you.

Nexus 6P here as well

About year and a half now

Not my favorite phone I've had (lumia 1520 is), but its definitely a king device. I've kept it stock since purchase. It was very cheap and blows most other devices out of the water for price/performance. As another one says, gets updated on the reg. Never had issues with it crashing or anything, but rarely I get phone calls and the person sounds like a quiet robot. Most favorite part is the speakers, I will never get a phone without front speakers again.

Only thing I hate about it is google is trying to weasel their way with the pixel bullshit. Most the features on the pixel can easily be featured on the 6p, but they are being faggot cunts.

Sorry for the bros who missed their chances with the 6p. hayweewee did a amazing job making the device.

Probably not a bad idea on the headphone jack. As far as the battery life, I think it just needs to be replaced. After 2 years, I'm sure it's lost a ton of life, considering even now it's not terrible, just a bit shorter.

Few months

It's better than my GS7, costs less than half of many of the new phones from last year, with the same quality. 5.5" screen (after I swore I'd never use one again after LGG4 buggy POS). Beautiful camera and screen. Wonderful sound even though Dolby is an obvious gimmick (basically a volume booster), still love it tho. Battery life is amazing, coming from a power user. With the screen I love playing games, and haven't done so before using this phone (since my GS3 days) and the phone still lasts a full day and a half. Charges to full on my 20 min commute to work with QC 3.0

It's not waterproof and does this strange "double vibe/pop" when it does its haptics stuff. Pressing home/back/multitask etc causes it to "double buzz" and it's kinda strange

IMO best Android phone I've ever used in my entire life. I didn't even have that opinion of my GS7 when it was brand spanking new

I had a Moto X2 before that, and only swapped it for the G4 because of the camera, which is undeniably a massive upgrade, but I kinda miss most of the other stuff I had on the other phone. I'd probably wouldn't mind getting something with a lesser camera now and instead go for build quality and other extras.

thats not how youre going to actually be able to replace the glass on there, first off youll have to buy the full OCTA because youre likely going to fuck up the amoled when removing the glass, not to mention im sure youll rip the sub keys right off of the sub PBA, but you have to go through the back of the phone, remove the screws, remove the sim tray, push out the frame, remove the PBA (mess that up and kiss your phone goodbye) then you have to get the battery out which is a bitch due to the strong adhesive, then you screw the OCTA in to a special base, heat the OCTA, and begin removing with suction. honestly you arent skilled enough or have the right tools to do this, take it to a phone repair place.

Samsung Galaxy S7

I've had it since release. 367 days.

I like the screen, it's fast, and it's the perfect sized smartphone.

I hate pretty much everything else about it. In fact, if it wasn't for root, I would have given it back. Then again there's no purpose in using Android if you don't root it unless you're using a Google Pixel. Why wouldn't you take full advantage of Android?

It's weird that it doesn't have USB-C either. Screen began to slightly peel near the Samsung logo where the earpiece is and near the home button. Don't know how to describe it, but I'm sure you know what I mean. It began as a small dot and then spread out to the edge of the display.

Eh... It's alright. Mostly gimmicky to be honest with y'all. That's what I was sold on, but looking back most of the features, which I never use, are pointless. Heart rate thing is stupid, but S Health is the only thing that can properly use it last I checked. Even though Google Fit asks permission to use it, it never does, but Google Fit is trash anyways. Besides, if you're going for a run or whatever... It's not that fun to carry around a phone with you. It's extremely annoying. Better to use a smart watch, which works better anyways.

Expandable storage is great until you realize that MicroSD cards vary in speed and on top of that, not all applications can go on it. Would have rather prefered two SIM slots.

Never phone is going to be an iPhone Edition or whatever the best one will be called until it breaks. Samsung made me quit Android. I know there's a lot of root benefits I'll lose, but I don't care. Most of them I use just to get it to work properly. Will miss AdAway and being able to get almost all applications for free, but it's a worthwhile tradeoff. Especially for a better experience and a better health application.

All in all, best phone I've owned, if only the camera would be better. I am drawn to the Iphone because the image processing in it is light handed and keeps the image natural instead of trying to aggressively remove noise (and fails miserably like the Sony).
But maybe the new XZ phone or whatever it's called is better. I'll have to read reviews on it.

I'd get another 2014 Moto X if the camera wasn't so bad and the battery life were better.
Since its demise, I've been hopping between phones hoping to find something as comfy and have come up short.
It's hard to find a good, no BS, 5.2" or smaller phone that can be used in the states today. All the ones I've tried just aren't as nice as the moto/not worth it over a note 2 for the price I payed for it.

looks bretty gud. I mainly use my Leap for 4chan and rss feeds. I was very tempted to get the passport instead of the Leap at the time, because of the design and layout being different to 99% of current phones.

>Your phone
Galaxy S4
>How long you've had it
Something less than four years
>What you like about it
Right size for my hands, good screen, fell many times but didn't break, still working after almost four years, physical home button
>What you hate about it
Protruding camera, bezels, "Samsung" letters unglued right after a few months of use, camera lens unglued a few months ago, picture quality degraded over time (unrelated to losing the lens), screen became slightly yellow over time, SoT, 4G battery consumption, "SIM card not detected - reboot", speaker placement, at times it gets hot as fuck, Samsung shit smeared all over android.

Overall it's still serving me well, which is remarkable, but I won't buy a Samsung again.

Moto g4 plus
9 months
Stock, also pretty cheap and great fingerprint scanner. Faster than the iPhone 7s
Random reboots are becoming commonplace
>>
>OnePlus 2
>9 months
>Good specs for the price (poorfag)
>Vibration motor is weak

How the fuck does camera quality degrade over time ?

Is it the camera hardware itself or the phone becoming slower thus degrading image processing ?

A friend of mine had an s4 and I was really impressed with its photos.

iPhone 6S

No lag. Functions without giving me headaches and drama.

Battery life could be better. Maybe it's to be expected if you use Waze on it for 2-3 hours a day.

Bad batery life with eink? Isn't the whole point of eink that it takes so much less power?

nexus 6p too here
>Since December 2015
>Great camera, stock 7.1.2, 24 hour battery life
>Bottom front speaker fails sometimes

Honestly, this is the best phone I've ever had since the Note 3. I'm planning on buying a Zerolemon case soon as my battery is slowing dying quicker.

Galaxy S6. Had if for a few days. I feel like it will slip out of my hand when I pull it out of my pocket. Battery is shit

You realize you can get wireless headphones for any phone right you don't need to switch to an iPhone for that
