spotify. I pay $5 a month (student) and it's as simple as starting up the application and searching for what I want to listen to. if there's some odd ball shit like most vaporwave than I upload it to my google play account and it syncs so I can listen to it on my device.

I used to use HikiPlayer, but Mnima seems to be much better. I switched to it.

foobar2000 plays my Musepack archive quite well.

Poweramp + Material skin.

Every other Android player is slow, bloated, looks ugly or doesn't have lots of options.

Funny enough Poweramp is the only paid app on my phone.

you know how you can use upnp on foobar to pretty much host a music server from your desktop

you can use the mobile foobar to connect to your computer and listen to that music, essentially creating your own music cloud that you can listen to from wifi/data connections.

And I did have on my phone because if I manually searched for them, then I would find it. Other music players I use didn't have that problem.

Pulsar is extremely fast and responsive. Playa folders but kinda ugly design.

I use Spotify but the app is a piece of shit.

Be nice if there was another app that could access your spotify while not being shit. Podcast integration on Spotify is a nice bonus, and it's compatible with most customization apps.
