It's MaxKey, a Chinese company that bought SP's old SA moulds for doubleshot ABS. They even have the same SHIF T legend problem.

Quality is pretty good, same as SP (apart from the couple of bad legends) but much cheaper.

Just a quick question, are all cherry stabilizers terrible? I've been making mistakes using my right shift because it's harder to press than normal keys.

This is my first mechanical keyboard. Could it just be a larger disparity than usual because I (this I was lower case before I noticed) decided to get gateron reds?

As an aside, I don't feel comfortable commenting on how good this particular board is since I have zero frame of reference but it's obviously miles better than my old cheap keyboard. The keycaps are objectively poor because the bottom part gets almost no backlighting through the key which is especially bad on the number keys since only the symbols get backlighting. This issue is resolved in their cherry mx-only revision I think.

How much would a quality TKL keycap set cost on average to solve this? I only wanted to ask about the stabilizers but I may as well ask about that too.
>>
>>59364615
Stabilizer power rankings.
Clipped cherry pcb mount stabs>costar stabs>cherry pcb mount stabs>power gap>cherry plate mount stabs.
For whatever reason I found the cherry stabs of my Leopold 750r feel much smoother and lighter than they did on other boards I have tried.
>>
>>59364171
it had a massdrop group buy like a month ago
>>
>>59364615
Legit Cherry or Cherry-like? The Chinese Cherry-like stabilisers are pretty universally terrible, but legit ones are pretty good once clipped.
>>
>>59364936

Though if you want you can just go on aliexpress and get any laser etched PBT keycap set you like. They usually sell for around 30-40 bucks

That could be an idea.

I literally just need the Cherry Clears to be inside a transparent, light-scattering casing. While I can do as you suggested, and I may, I am not opposed to trying alternate branded switches and save me the time of modifying every single cherry.

With PCB design software.

If you have to ask, you should probably start with finding out how a keyboard matrix works.

Not very difficult, TMK supports that kind of stuff.

The real question is, why the fuck do you even want capslock?
>>
>>59381169
why would he not want capslock? It's useful.

What's the point of a key that's only good for typing in all caps
>>
>>59381169

You use it for control

Then I'd suggest getting some pcb design software and getting familiar with it. You don't need to know a whole lot to design a keyboard matrix.

F24. I like having a key that's easily pressed by my pinky, hard to accidentally press (with a stepped cap) and isn't used for anything else to be my push-to-talk key for voice chat.
