Is this a problem with socks5 technology, or the VPN provider's fault that their proxies barely works unless you use their client?

I'm under NordVPN and all of their IPs are rangebanned from here, which is unfortunate (I don't want to use it for shitposting like most people). Is there a provider that isn't?
