/g/ i need new speakers, mine crapped out on my. been reading that bookshelf speakers are great, and that a simple bookshelf+amp set-up would set me back much less than regular pc speakers.

do i play it safe and buy some $97 Klipsch Pro Media 2.1's? just found em on sale, if not they are usually $150.
