Anyone know how to get around this blatant strong arming tactics Sprint practices forcing you to use their services? i.e. anyone know how to unlock the phone so I could use it somewhere else?

Don't use Sprint?
Every phone company does that
But you either pay the unlocking fee or jailbreak/root your phone and unlock it yourself

Where I live selling locked phones is illegal.

Stop buying locked phones
>Buy locked phone at a discount.
>They are ripping me off, this is unfair!
How poor do you have to be where sprint is too expensive? Planning to switch to boost mobile or some shit?

Not true. AT&T lets unlock it after a short amount of time owning a new phone.
