Has anyone had much luck getting Docker images that require some level of root priv to run on Openshift?

And why, exactly the fuck, are these docker monkeys so sloppy that they end up with everything running as root anyways?

because they're software developers who can only write spagheti code which barely functions as is and makes everything dev ops problem

New to docker myself but by default docker containers uses the root user. You have to define your user / group id yourself, if using linux
