The ic chips get damaged from the joints playing tiddlywinks , you can reheat it but your just reflowing shitty solder on a damaged chip, your beast bet is to replace the CPU, witch between labor difficulty and cost of materials the phone quickly gets totaled out, you'd at least have to reball the chip

This. Put a heatgun on my g4 CPU at 250°C and it still bootlooped. Put it up to 400°C but the fucking lacquer on the old chair I was heating it on cracked and caused a short on the underside of the board, so it is no more. Lg quoted me $300 to fix it and I paid $500 for it so it was a write off.
