literally any kind of system thing like rooting, backups, recovery, or rom installing is a huge pain in the ass with 50 shady apps of which none work, and 50 different roms that all seem the same and are somehow wired specifically for extremely detailed model numbers

what the goddamn fuck is this. In a pc you just put in any harddrive or ssd, cd drive, usb ports, mouse and kb, bios/uefi finds and starts up all of it, you boot your os from a disk/stick and everything just fucking works. What is it with phones?
