Anyone have experience with travel routers?

Interested in something like pic related (HooToo Tripmate Titan) but concerned about reviews that it slows down the internet connection.

Fine by me - I actually know networking basics & would prefer to have something "harder" but more configurable.

The other thing that was turning me off about the others I looked at (TP Link, HooToo, etc) was the lack of configuration options.
