Old fag here, need some advice.

Want to buy my son a CHEAP gaming system that will play most of the current games out there without issues.
We have hard drives, SATA cables, vidya card, and an ATX tower case.

I have googled around and found some barebones/bundle sites, but I am wondering if anyone can
give me some good sites to check out.

I wanna keep it under $400 if possible.

For $400, it's not going to be able to play any modern games at a reasonable frame rate.

buy a used optiplex tower with an i5 from craigslist. Buy a new PSU and whatever GPU you want.
