Hi!
I updated my motherboard bios. (it's MSI z170 yada yada yada)
When my computer started back up after the update, my 6600k was locked at 800mhz and stayed at that speed at idle and in video games.
ThrottleStop fixes the problem by disabling BD PROCHOT. But the thing is I don't want to have to run this program and uncheck that box everytime I restart my computer.
Does anyone have any better solutions?

yea reconfigure your bios settings after you update it.

It ignores all changes I make in BIOS and stays at 800 mhz
Just downgrade your UEFI back to the old version, it clearly worked better.

and those changes would those be?
