Would wager that men who go into practical skills like computing have low social or emotional intelligence and are incredibly vulnerable to manipulation by factions with these things in excess.

Additionally computing in this day and age is the frontier/the future seat of power in all things in the world so it's only natural that social movers and shakers will come and try to subvert all of it, first with narrative and then install leaders of these narratives as directors of as many fronts of development as they can.

Python is also has a fairly low barrier to entry so its going to attract more non-traditional programmers like young people people and hobbiests. The reality is that easier languages benefit from the diversity.
