How do you remove/filter a folder or some files to not appear

How do you remove/filter a folder or some files to not appear in quick access? l share a laptop with my roommate and this shit is keeping track of all my degenerate porn. Manually deleting the files from quick access is a nuisance. Isn't there a way of filtering a folder or just deleting this CSI crap from windows 10?

Just turn off view hidden files and set all your stuff to hidden
I assume win10 still has this feature right

Simply selecting file explorer options (from control panel, for example) and in general, under privacy unchecking "show recent files in quick access" or something like that dont work?
