First of all, stream was complete garbage. Now, all they did is unveil a faster 1080. Why is is faster ? because they fixed poor power design and cooling lol !!!!!! Also, more cores and memory.

They also pretty much confirmed that they want to lock developers into DX12 and they have no answer to async computing.

That event was nothing interesting, low-midrange is still dominated by AMD. Maybe if 1070 get high price-cuts people will move up to it from 480.
