So I got the new "Pixel" phone today. And the screen has this fucking blue tint going on.
I've heard this is really common with AMOLED displays.
Is it worth trying to return this thing?
Also, I'm new to Android ( outside of some test devices ). This is kind of a bad first taste.
If you're on a contract you probly won't be able to return if you have over a certain amount of usage.
If you bought it outright, return that shit and get a new one.

Yes! I have this phone!
Go to developer options
Go to "Picture Color Mode", and choose "Use sRGB"

sRGB didn't work for me : / got the blue tint still

are you sure it's not white and you're just used to an amber tint?
>>59159470
You might be used to a warm balanced phone. Or you might have got a fucked unit. Should have checked it out before you bought it.

>he didn't get a OP3T
kek

Yes. That's how mine is. It's not offensively obvious, it's just how the screen is. There are better screens on other phones, yes.

I have a OnePlus 3 that I use for testing. Has an amazing screen, better than any iPhone / Apple Device.
The Pixel just, isnt as nice. Its like looking at a bad early gen TFT monitor where shit has like a 30 degree sweet spot.

It is, but at least the sweet spot is amazingly color correct in sRGB mode.
