When are we going to get cheap AMD all-in-ones and bundles suitable for gaming? Even if Intel quickly regains the performance crown, AMD's CPUs are once again good enough to be viable.

To be fair even the 7XXX APUs are years old now and weren't exactly delivering stellar framerates at 1080p on launch, hopefully raven ridge delivers.

It will always be the equivalent of a laptop gpu, thus never worth it.

Ryzen isn't even released yet...

nah, desktop CPUs have much higher TDPs and thus can outperform laptop GPUs
and even if that were true, some laptop GPUs are quite powerful and are on par with last gen's mid-high range cards

wait for zen+ apu with vega gpu + hbm2

Give it a few months. AMD would be dumb to not sell CPU/GPU combos, as it is their key advantage over Intel/Nvidia as they can't do the same even if they can win on performance. They can win through lower margins on higher revenue. AMD CPUs being utter shit has been the only thing holding them back.

You can crossfire with amd GPUs :^)
That's probably one of the most attractive reasons to get amd processors into laptops
The only decent APU was the most recent A12 9800. I haven't seen it in stores, only in limited prebuilt desktops and laptops.
