if firefox got an inbuilt session manager (that only comes out when the browser crashes), why can't I use it deliberately? Why do I have to install an extension to use it?

It's the same thing for the user agent manager that it has... It's so annoying.

Just kill Firefox instead of shutting it down normally and it'll trigger the session restore the next time it starts since it didn't shut down properly.
