16:10 sold. Need something to replace my Asus 205. 2gb ram usb2 and 32gb emmc and 32bit only all lack. Just the Intel atoms chug a bit. Smaller size seems nice but weight has gone up, I liked the plastic lightweight of the 205

Seriously, I don't get why they can't put an IPS screen on devices intended to be for media consumption. I actually upgraded my Chromebook to have an IPS screen and I spend around $220 in total for the screen and the Chromebook. OEMs can buy screens for cheaper than I, a regular consumer can, so there's no reason anything being sold for more than $200 should still come with a TN panel.

I guess it depends on what you use it for. I have had a ipad mini before and barely used it, I much prefer a laptop, the only way I could see myself using such a device like this is if it had a considerable advantage vs a laptop, like incredible battery life we're talking 20 hours or over

This new Lenovo seems to still have a TN panel (a lot of previews say it washes out from the side) but at least the resolution is decent at 1920x1200.
