Anyone interested in the new 10.1" Lenovo Miix 320? $200, 4gb ram, detachable keyboard, I might pick it up if the screen opens wide enough to use on my lap
>>
Finally the pricing is right where it needs to be

detachable keyboard? why?

I didn't even know they made a t101ha, did they fix the ghost touch on the screen? Looks like it has just as restrictive of a hinge as the t100ha, if one of these little 10.1" books had a 180degree hinge I'd buy it in a heartbeat

That bezel is huge, could fit a 12" in there

yeah, a result of the low cost I guess. Also probably helps keep the keyboard usable

Fuck that. Get the asus e200ha. It's 11.6 inch.

literally why

16:10 sold. Need something to replace my Asus 205. 2gb ram usb2 and 32gb emmc and 32bit only all lack. Just the Intel atoms chug a bit. Smaller size seems nice but weight has gone up, I liked the plastic lightweight of the 205

So tired of that shit.

Anyway, what's the actual processor on this, because if it's a z8500 you can already get better specs for less money by buying on Ali.

>>59150342
I used to be like you until I actually used a dual boot tablet and now I can't go back to having a keyboard attached to my screen.
>>
>>59151075
Because bigger screen and its not a tablet with a fake keyboard.

Who cares about 1080p anyway are you going to watch a movie on a 10 inch screen? No.
>>
>>59149910
>netbooks are coming back
>a shit ton of them still have 1366x768 TN panels
Seriously, I don't get why they can't put an IPS screen on devices intended to be for media consumption. I actually upgraded my Chromebook to have an IPS screen and I spend around $220 in total for the screen and the Chromebook. OEMs can buy screens for cheaper than I, a regular consumer can, so there's no reason anything being sold for more than $200 should still come with a TN panel.
>>
>>59149300
>lenovo

Nope. They have a history of using wlan/wwan whitelisting, goofy non-standard uefi implementations and trying to infect the disk with spyware from the bios.
>>
>>59150007
so that you can shove it up your ass mr. bond

>I used to be like you until I actually used a dual boot tablet and now I can't go back to having a keyboard attached to my screen.

I guess it depends on what you use it for. I have had a ipad mini before and barely used it, I much prefer a laptop, the only way I could see myself using such a device like this is if it had a considerable advantage vs a laptop, like incredible battery life we're talking 20 hours or over
>>
>>59152372

This new Lenovo seems to still have a TN panel (a lot of previews say it washes out from the side) but at least the resolution is decent at 1920x1200.
