hello friendos.
so i know i'm a bit behind the times but i'm considering buying a raspberry pi kit.
it's about 200 dollarydoos which includes a pi 3, 7 inch touch screen, power cords etc.
i have a boner for hardware, i still fuck around with my psp that has cfw. i want to start learning to code and i'll be travelling around nepal and yurop later this year.
originally i was going to buy a cheapish laptop to bring travelling with me, but now i'm wondering if it's viable to do everything on a pi with an ssd for good measure.
i don't want to do anything hectic. i'll probably play some dos games, have a few programs to teach me basic coding and shitpost on the internet with it.
i guess my main concern is the 1gb of ram. i know i'm not going to be able to run a bunch of programs at once, but 1gb is enough for daily shit like word processing etc, right?
what i'm asking is am i going to buy this pi (and do you guys think pi's are worth it) only to say "i need more" and buy a cheap laptop later on anyway? my friend is saying "pi's are just a step above smart phones and a step below a laptop", but are they really that useless?

Lmao. If this is you're first time, then be prepared for surprise. You will be literally worshipped everywhere. They call you "kuire" or "khaire" with means foreigners in colloquial terms. Also a protip: everyone knows yall eat beef, but don't ask it here. Its illegal and considered very rude. And be aware of assholes guides and hotels/lodge. They will charge you way more. Like 10x more than normal rate. Otherwise most are super friendly.
