Why is it so hard to get a keyboard with anti-ghosting/NKRO that

tend to agree a bit. they are much more complicated than rubberdomes and have more potential points of failure. and if a switch craps out on you repairing it can be a goddamn nightmare depending on the contruction of the keyboard.

i've had tv remotes die but never seen a rubberdome keyboard fail from normal use. typing this on a ~10 year old rubberdome. still works just fine.

there's a reason why mechanical was off the grid for a while - rubberdomes work just fine and are cheaper. but now manufacturers have successfully fetishized every single component that goes into making a pc. good on them but i don't care.

mechs aren't 'bad' but it's not the night and day difference some make it out to be. and they come with their own set of issues.

Do you really need nkro? Most rubber domes have 2nkro and people game just fine on those. Get something with 6kro if you want. Also modifiers like ctrl, shift and space don't count towards the limit
